Happy Friday!

I have been working hard on my polymer clay charm inventory. I have a few favorites I have made this week to share with you. You will see below what I have been working on. The most exciting project would be the cake I am making with Polymer clay and tea light candles. I have since iced this cake and will have the finished product to show soon! I am super excited how that turned out. I also have gotten some horse and rooster molds and am playing around with those making some pendants. I do not have any charms uploaded to my store yet but if you see anything your interested in please feel free to message me!

As you see in the header I will be posting a video on Fridays. My goal is for them to be my videos every Friday but I am still working out lighting. So today I will leave you with an awesome video from ArtzieRush on Youtube. She has made an awesome dragon and I will be trying out this tutorial soon. I don’t know that I will ever do tutorials but I do love watching others work with my coffee in the morning and so I thought why not make some videos for others to enjoy as well. So this is my goal. To make videos that people can watch me create. If you wish to follow them thats great but they will not be tutorials and I will not list items etc. But I WILL answer any questions you have! Well my first art journal entry didn’t turn out as I envisioned. I am happy to get started though. I am excited to keep my art journal for many reasons. To show how far I have come. To try new techniques and products. I am excited to have a place that is just for me to experiment. Most of the stuff I make is for other people. I seem to always have a purpose when I am crafting. It is nice to have a place where I can create something from my head that is just for me.

Before my husband left on his trip he got me an old educational book that he will never use again. It is rather large and has a hard cover. The first thing I did was cover the first two pages in Gesso. Then I sat there forever it seemed trying to think of something amazing to put in it since I was so very excited to start. It sat for quite a bit before I started. I watched one of Marta’s videos where she basically just said “start” creating a background. So that is what I did. Hopefully I can start on a new page today. I am pretty out of it because of the pain meds from my tooth being pulled but maybe that will help my creative process 🙂
